Kawaguchi Awards for Outstanding Industrial Technologies and Technicians is an initiative launched in 1995 by Kawaguchi City, Saitama, to preserve outstanding local techniques and skills at the forefront of industries and to secure and develop human resources.

Yuya Takahashi, the chief creator of Zeppet, was awarded with Kawaguchi Challenge Award as an engineer/technician noted for his vigorous challenge in exploring new fields and developing new techniques.
