Standing figure of Venus for < DRESS for VENUS > at Art Fair Tokyo 2017

BLAST produced the standing figure of Venus used in < DRESS for VENUS >, a live performance presented at “Art Fair Tokyo 2017” held on March 16 – 19, 2017.

Zeppet became the first to create the 3D model of the naked Venus in “The Birth of Venus” by William Bouguereau.
Junko Koshino, a fashion designer, drew a dress for the standing figure with the aid of VR. The drawing was used in the performance where the dress is directly projected to the figure through a stereoscopic projection method.

The Venus in the VR space has been created based on the 3D scan data of the standing figure.
